Settling back into Nursery.

We have all really settled back into nursery now and have adjusted well to the new routine and adjustments at nursery. It's like we have never been away now. We have all been very busy with lots of different activities happening in our bubble groups 

Happy Horses: 
This week our Happy Horses have been exploring colours. We have had so much fun with this as it can be done in many ways, through paint, books, chalk, materials etc. We have been looking at The Very Hungry Caterpillar and will be looking into their life cycles as the children have loved watching how it happens through reading this story. We have looked at how colours can be changed by mixing but I'm sure the children love making brown. we really enjoyed making hand prints and footprints for our wall and I'm sure the children cant wait to see their work on the wall. 

Super Sharks: 
This week in Super Shark we have been carrying on with our theme "Under the sea." Our book of the week has been 'The snail and the Whale' We have been doing lots of arts and rafts including painting, gluing and making our own sea creatures. We have played lots of games related to sea animals. We have been moving like different sea creatures. We have loved finding out fun facts about sea creatures.

Proud Penguins: 
This week the Proud penguins have been doing about summer , we started our week with a discussion about summer, what things remind us of summer and what our favourite summer activities are! We have been getting craft making lots of pretty summer related things for our display board. We have also been really focusing on counting and number recognition as part of our getting ready for school, this is going really well. We are going to be finishing the week by learning all about sun safety! Next week we will be doing changes and transitions!
